How I Automated Referral Link Marketing with my New Favorite App

Over the past three months I’ve been able to automate my referral link marketing efforts. It sounds too good to be true, right?

No, I’m not using a twitter-bot to post referral links every hour. I’m not auto-spamming these links to blogs or YouTube videos. And I don’t have to create a bunch of fake accounts.  Nothing like that.

It’s actually not spammy at all. If you’re familiar with the Chrome Extension, Honey, it’s very similar.  Whereas Honey shows you promo codes any time you’re in the checkout process, Referred Club shows you referral links.

And, you can benefit not only by using referral links, but you can add your own to be used by others.

Here’s a video demo of the product.

The app offers two main benefits:

1) Using Referral Links

This is the easiest way to use Referred Club. You download the Chrome extension and that’s it. Any time you navigate to a site with a referral program, a notification will drop.

It’ll show you a few things:

  • Your benefit for using the referral link
  • The referrer’s benefit for you using it
  • Links from your friends & family

The first links it’ll show are those from your Facebook connections. If anyone you know is using Referred Club, it’ll prioritize those links in the dropdown.

When you use any referral link, it’ll typically benefit both you.

2) Automate Referral Link Marketing

This is my favorite way to use Referred Club.

You have the ability to input any of your own referral links. You only have to do this once, and they’ll forever be shown to others landing on that site.

To enter those, you can go to the “Referral Programs” page on the site. There you’ll see hundreds of companies offering referral benefits. You’re able to enter your personal link for any, and all, of these programs. Those will immediately show up in the extension dropdown for others.

In the past three months, here’s a list of the benefits I’ve personally received by using Referred Club.

  • $5 in Amazon Prime credit
  • Advanced status with RocketClub
  • $18.70 cash from Eventbrite
  • $5k in additionally managed funds from Lending Club
  • $40 in free shipping from Shyp
  • $20 free ride from Uber
  • $70.84 cash from Eventbrite

Here’s a snapshot of those confirmation emails I received.

I don’t know why anyone wouldn’t want to automate referral link marketing efforts. The best part – it’s free… at least for now while Referred Club is in Beta.
